Spirit Tells Us What They Want Us To Know, Not Necessarily What We Want To Hear

I have learned that having spiritual gifts comes from God and we must practice them with love and respect. All true psychics and mediums have the responsibility to remind those they read that Spirits will share what one needs to hear vs what they might want to hear. Being a psychic and medium puts us into a position of knowing personal and vulnerable things. It is important to practice with integrity and love with the intention to heal and provide peace.

Also, it is important to note you may receive a message for someone, however, they may not be ready to hear it. In this type of situation I write the message from Spirit down on a piece of paper with the date it was received. I feel all messages received from Spirit come for a reason but we all have free will, therefore, I hold these messages until the intended person is in a better place to hear it.
