What is Automatic Writing?

Automatic writing is when you write in a trance-like state as thoughts arise from your unconscious mind. Spiritualists believe this method of writing comes from supernatural forces such as from spirit guides and angels.

This practice started as far back as the 19th century when mediums tried to contact the spirit world. This form of communication allows spirits to use a medium, however, this type of channeling is voluntary.

Why do automatic writing?

This method allows for a much more cohesive connection to spirits and guides in order to gain in depth messages to allow for peace and direction.

This is something I do every day. It is an excellent way to gain insight each day from holy spirits on the other side. Often when spirits visit me this is just another form in which we communicate. Sometimes before having a reading, I will ask my spirit guides to bring forth loved ones who have messages so I can pass them on to those whom the messages are intended. I also do this for myself to get personal guidance for my day.

If you are interested in trying to connect to your own Spirit Guides this is an excellent way to try to do it. First meditate asking them to come forth and speck to you in this form of writing, you might be surprised what you get. Remember to be quiet and still and very patient. You could be amazed, start with asking your Spirit Guide what their names are or just thank them for always being with you!
